Safe Chlor disinfection and sanitizing tablets ensure odourless and algae-free water tanks having a broad-spectrum bactericidal activity, eliminates dangerous pathogens and bacteria in water.
How to use Safe Chlor tablets for tank water?
- Check the volume or capacity of your water tank or sump
- Choose the right pack of Safe Chlor tablets based on the volume or capacity of your tank or sump.
- Add the required number of tablets directly in Water Tank / Sump
- Use water after 30 min
- If chlorine demand is more in water, increase/double dose.
What is the difference between Safe Chlor chlorine tablets and other chlorine products?
Safe Chlor tablets are made using the ingredient called Nadcc – Sodium DichloroIsocyanurate, organic chlorine releasing chemical.
Is it safe to use Safe Chlor?
Yes, it is absolutely safe; it has no negative health effects at recommended dosage for regular use. If you are allergic to chlorine, avoid using it.
However, Safe Chlor brand and Crest Aquatech won’t be responsible for any health issues or any allergic reaction.
Is NADCC used in Safe Chlor tablets approved and recognised?
NADCC Sodium DichloroIsocyanurate or Troclosene Sodium, the ingredient used in Safe Chlor tablets is certified and recommended by major Indian and International Infection/disease control organizations.
What is the residual chlorine recommended and safe in drinking water?
As per WHO – World Health Organization, CDC (Centers for Disease Control And Prevention) and BIS Bureau of Indian Standards, it is recommended to Have minimum residual chlorine of 0.5 mg/Liter and maximum of 2 mg/ Ltr (0.5 ppm to 2 ppm) in drinking water.
Will there be change in TDS or PH of the water by using Safe Chlor tablets?
No, at recommended dosages Safe Chlor tablets will not have any impact and No change in TDS or PH of water.
What is the effect of water colour, smell and taste after using Safe Chlor?
At recommended dosage, based on chlorine demand of the water, Water Colour – Improved clarity and reduced turbidity Water Smell – No strong pungent chlorine smell, bad odor from water will be eliminated, water will be clean and fresh. Water Taste – No change in taste
How to use Safe Chlor tablets for tank water purification?

- Check residual chlorine using chlorine test kit.
What is the storage procedure and shelf life of Safe Chlor tablets?
Store Safe Chlor tablets in a dry, dark and cool place. Keep lids closed after usage to avoid moisture. The shelf life of Safe Chlor tablets is 2 years from the year of manufacturing.
What are the warning instructions while using Safe Chlor tablets?
Safe Chlor tablets are not for medicinal and oral use. Keep away from Children and avoid direct contact with eyes and mouth.
